Today’s card features a cute fireplace.

I really wanted some topiaries to frame my fireplace so I used several dies to create them.

The long skinny die is from the Box Card die set, the green piece is part of Sizzix House Fold It and the present is from Sizzix gifts drop ins.

I cut the green pieces 4 times from Kiwi, the stem from Chocolate and the present in Ocean. I trimmed of the top of the present to get the base shape. However, you could easily hand cut something out. 

I created the fireplace by embossing it in white onto Gingersnap and die cut it out. I added the chocolate stems on either side.

I laid out where I wanted the topiaries to be and trimmed the chocolate pieces down.

I popped them with Adhesive foam.

I then stamped Happy Birthday from Foxes2stamp with Licorice Archival ink. I added a few epoxy hearts and tied some Kiwi twine on.

All of this was layered onto Cranberry and a piece of patterned paper from the HoHoHo pad.  This was added to an A2 card base of Ocean card stock.
