Hi there!
I created this card for the Blog Named Hero Challenge: Use Your Favorite Hero Arts Product:
First, I love Hero Arts so it is impossible for me to choose ONE product from them. But I did try!
I am a big fan of their My Monthly Hero Kits. I have been getting them since the beginning and have almost all of them. They are beautifully made and filled with lots of fun extras -embossing powder, specialty papers, twine, ribbon, etc.
This flower is from the April 2016 kit. I have been watercoloring a lot this year and this flower is perfect for it. I chose to use Jane Davenport’s Mermaid Markers to color it in. The pink marker I used is full of sparkle which makes me happy!
You can see the sparkle in this picture (better in person!):
I stamped the flower in Fuchsia Ranger Archival Ink and the stems in Library Green.
The center was colored with a little yellow watercolor.
I mounted the panel on a piece of pink patterned paper from My Favorite Things and added this to a New Leaf card stock base (Papertrey Ink).
The sentiment was stamped in black on a piece of yellow card stock. The die cut comes from the March 2018 Hero Arts MMH kit. That is popped up with foam dots.
I added three Pretty Pink Posh clear droplets to finish it off.
