Hi!
I wanted to share a card I made today:
On Instagram today, The Stamps of Life challenged us to create a card using Flamingo2stamp.
I began by watercoloring the background of the “beach.” I used my Daniel Smith sample sheets to create this. These samples are real watercolor paint, just a dab of them so you can see what colors you might like. They are very high quality and I enjoyed working on my watercolor skills!!
I decided to stamp and watercolor the flamingos using a real life image as reference. I didn’t realize they had such ornate feathers.
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment and die cut it on a tag. I tied a small Guava ribbon on the end.
Thanks for stopping by!
I am also entering this card in the following challenge:
Flamingos always make me smile, and your free-hand background works great with them! Thanks for sharing this with us for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
