Today I wanted to share a card using the Succulents2stamp from The Stamps of Life:
This card began with some ink blending on a piece of Bristol card stock. I prefer this card stock for blending because it takes the ink really well and allows you some time to work with it before it soaks all the way in to the paper. I have had more success with this paper than regular card stock.
I used mostly purples and a little blue. I wanted a darker shade to represent more of a twilight scene.
I used the wave die from Sailboat Dies to cut the brown base and I inserted several cacti behind it. I added a piece of artichoke ribbon and another succulent. The “ouch” sentiment is from the coordinating stamp set.
The final thing I added was a trio of matte brown epoxy dots.
Thanks for stopping by!
