Hello!
Today I am sharing a card I made for the Papertrey Ink December Blog Hop.
Here is the inspiration photo:
When I saw the inspiration picture a few weeks ago, I knew that I wanted to recreate the heart shaped wreath because it was so lovely. This is where it took me forever to get moving on the project!! I stamped several different flowers, etc and after some trial and error, I settled on the single rose from the newest Make It Market kit, Wonderland. I stamped and die cut many of these and put them aside.
I returned home from Atlanta today and realized I forgot about the hop!
I die cut a heart shape out of white card stock and stamped several leaf shapes in different colors around the outline of the heart. Then I glued down the roses.
The inside sentiment was stamped on champagne vellum and embossed with gold.
I adhered the vellum down to the card stock and then added foam strips to the Fine Linen to allow a little light to shine through it.
I finished by adding to bright pink card stock and sprinkled around some sequins.
Thanks for stopping by!!
I am entering this card in the SSS Wednesday Challenge Party Time.
