Hello!
Time for PTI Make It Monday #289 Building Wreaths with Small Images!
You can see this week’s video from Lizzie HERE.
I have been cleaning up my craft room and I rediscovered an older set, Mod Squad. It is retro and I thought it would be fun to use. It is a little out of my comfort zone so it is good to try new things!
I began by cutting a circle and lightly tracing it on a piece of white card stock. I chose the following Stampin’ Up ink colors:
Night of Navy
Lost Lagoon
Peach Parfait
Pretty in Pink
I stamped around the circle and decided to add one more color and small shape using Bermuda Bay.
Next, I stamped the edge border like Lizzie’s card and I used my stamp positioner for this. There is no way I could have done it without that tool!
I trimmed down the white paper and attached it all onto Night of Navy card stock. The silver ribbon is from Stampin’ Up.
Thanks for stopping by!
Love the "mod" look, Katherine, and your color choices are awesome!
I like how you used this stamp set to create a retro looking wreath! So many of us used flowers that it's nice to see something different. Good choice of colors too!
