Hello!
I was so inspired by this card from Rachel that was featured on the CASology blog this week.
I love the use of the Hexagon shape. The hexagon was very popular several years ago and it seems to be making a return to the paper craft world.
I die cut my hexagon from white card stock using Hello and Thanks label from Reverse Confetti.
I stenciled lightly on a white card stock base with Pretty in Pink ink (SU). Oh my, I love stencils! You just can’t mess them up and they add such lovely interest.
Next, I die cut a butterfly from white and stamped the solid image with Lawn Fawn Sugarplum. The antenna were stamped on the hexagon in Lavender.
I stamped the sentiment in black. The stamp set I used is Flap Happy.
The last thing I added was a trio of clear sequins.
Thanks Rachel for the inspiration!!!
I am entering this card in the PS Anything Goes Challenge July, SSS Wednesday Anything Goes, CASology #255 Fly, SSS Monday Challenge Stencil It and Word Art Wednesday #288-289 Anything Goes.
