My Favorite Things Camp Create Day 2: Remarkable Resist

Hello!

Time for MFT Camp Create Day 2: Remarkable Resist!

Embossing is the first technique I ever learned in stamping and I have always loved it. It is easy and can really pack a punch on a card. I am excited to use that today for Camp Create.

I began with a piece of watercolor paper. I embossed stars from Primitive Pumpkins with Hero Arts White Puffy powder. It leaves a raised image and adds some nice texture.

I sponged Distress Blueprint Sketch and Candied apple on the top and bottom and left the middle white to resemble the colors of the American Flag.

Then I stamped the sentiment using Papertrey Ink Wet Paint Alphabet and Numbers on white card stock using Real Red and Night of Navy ink (Stampin’ Up).

This was cut in a rectangle and I stamped a few more stars from the same stamp set.

Red and white twine were added last.

Thanks for stopping by!

I am entering this card in the SSS Monday Challenge Touchy Feely.
