Hello!
Today I created cards for the Casology #252 Insect challenge.
I die cut large butterflies from Stampin’ Up Flowerpot Designer Paper (retired) and cut the solid bases in Crushed Curry and Daffodil Delight.
The dies I used are discontinued from My Favorite Things called Fancy Butterflies.
The first card is very simple – I added one of the large butterflies to a white card base and stamped the sentiment in Crushed Curry.
On the second card, I sponged Crushed Curry in a circle and added one of the butterflies on top of it. Then I stamped the Sentiment in Tangelo Twist. This stamp came from the most recent Paper Pumpkin kit from SU. I added a few gold glitter epoxy dots to the wings.
Thanks for stopping by!
Katherine, I think both of these are simply stunning! I love your choice of patterned paper also – so joyful! It's lovely to see the sentiment stamped in colour also. It really supports the joyful tone you have created with these cards! Thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week!
The patterned papers are a great way to interest to these butterflies and keep them CAS, Katherine! Thanks for playing along with us at CASology this week!
