I wanted to share a card I created for MFT Color Challenge 66. I don’t think I have ever participated in a color challenge so I am excited to try it today!

I stamped MFT Fancy Flowers onto watercolor paper and used a mask as well so I could stamp the flowers behind each other.

I did a really quick watercolor using Stampin Up colors: So Saffron, Island Indigo, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie. I don’t have any MFT inks so I used similar shades.

After this, I decided to trim around the flowers and leaves and mount what was left onto Island Indigo card stock.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment in Old Olive embossing powder. This sentiment came from Timeless Tulips from Sunny Studio.

I added some jute string because this card became very rustic to me once it was watercolored. When I have time, I will add a few sequins.
