Hello!
Today, I felt like working on my blending technique so I pulled out a piece of Bristol card stock and some Distress inks and made this background:
I am not the strongest blender but I have found better success overall with Bristol Vellum paper. It seems that the ink takes a second to sink into the paper so I have the opportunity to move the ink around before it makes the dreaded circle in the middle of your paper! Has that ever happened to anyone else???
I wasn’t too concerned about it being perfect either because I ended up using it for a die cut.
I used the Sizzix Friends Background Dies and my precision base plate to cut it out.
I mounted it onto Harvest Gold paper from Papertreyink.
Guava seam binding was added to the side and 3 acrylic flowers were added onto top of the die cut flowers.
Thanks for stopping by!
