Hello!
Today is Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink March Release.
The challenge is to create a card that contains multiples of a single shape, die cut or stamped image.
I rediscovered these beautiful Etched Easter egg Dies in craft room yesterday and decided to use these for my multiples for the challenge.
I die cut the eggs using double sided foam. It isn’t the foam from PTI (which I love!!!) but it is from another company and is a little thinner.
I die cut a rectangle stitched frame from PTI Scalloped A1 Die Collection. I laid out the foam egg die cuts and stamped the sentiment – Our and Lives in black, leaving room for Savior.
This is where you need some patience! The payoff is TOTALLY worth it but you need to work slowly.
I stuck down the eggs and began carefully peeling off sections and adding Decofoil as I went. This helps me see where I have removed the front paper and have applied the foil.
After finishing this step (it isn’t perfect but I am okay with that!), I die cut Savior in white card stock. Before cutting, however, I added Sizzix Adhesive to the front and back of the paper to make it into a sticker after it was cut.
I glued the word down and applied purple foil.
I die cut a piece of Egg Hunt patterned paper using the A1 collection and trimmed it in half.
The ribbon was added last and tied with a simple knot.
Thanks for stopping by!!
I am entering this card in the Word Art Wednesday #272-273 Anything Goes.
