Butterflies Thank you card

Hello!

Today I have a card I created using wooden butterflies. I have been cleaning off my desk and finding lots of lost treasures! I had a bag of wooden painted butterflies from American Crafts that I have used for several projects. They are so cute.

As they are already painted, I decided to add Nuvo to them. It adds great dimension and it doesn’t dry flat like some others do.

I chose a blue card base to contrast the warmth of the butterflies and I used blue to one of them.

I pulled out my Anniversary stamp set from the Stamps of Life and used the swirls for the background. I hoped to add some “movement” of the butterflies. Then I stamped the Thanks circle and my friend.

Finally, I arranged the butterflies and popped them up with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by!

I am entering this card in the SSS Monday Challenge Things with Wings.
