Hi there!!

Today I am sharing a card I made for Make It Monday #271 A LA CARTE.

The challenge is to make a card from a previous Make It Monday Challenge that you may have missed or wanted to try.

I chose Make it Monday #243 Ink Blending Over Heat Embossing.

I really like to emboss. It was one of the first techniques I ever learned when I began stamping.

I stamped the celebrate and banner images and embossed with white powder.

Then I used some distress inks to blend over the images.

This set was included as a giveaway from Papertrey Ink with a qualifying order.

I created the banner from the die that is in this same set and stamped it with dark blue.

I sprayed the card with markers in hopes of adding a confetti feel to it.  Gold and white twine were added and it was mounted to 2 layers of card stock.
