Hello!
Hope you are well. This has been a good week spending time with my mom (she has been here since a tornado hit her town). We are starting to have a cold rain again here in GA and we are concerned about ice and snow which can make life very crazy here!
I recently got this stamp set from The Stamps of Life and I thought it would be fun to create a card with it, especially with the weather we are having this weekend.
I die cut several snowflakes from Sky card stock. After cutting several, I decided to use some new Spectrum Noir sparkle markers. I have some Zigs and wanted to try these. The blue colors I chose are very vibrant and very sparkly!!!!
I colored the snowflakes and let them dry. I cut the same color card stock for the base and stamped the smaller snowflake with Versamark ink.
I added the snowflakes and die cut the word “Celebrate” with double sided adhesive foam. I added the foam to the cream colored shadow.
Since both sides are sticky, I added pink foil to the top. The pictures aren’t great due to our rainy day, but you can see the shine and shimmer which is what I wanted. It is prettier in person!
You can see the sparkle from the markers in the next two photos:
