Blended Background with Hearts

Hello!

One final card from the December Stamps of Life Card kit.

I fell in serious like with these puffy hearts included in the set. I usually hoard all my really cute embellishments but these just needed to be shared!

I began blending on white card stock using Spun sugar distress ink and ended with Candied apple.

This is such a fun way to add color to a project. I find it very relaxing and a bit like using a coloring book.

I added the hearts as they already have adhesive on the back. The darker hearts are actually a dark gray, not black as they appear in the picture. It was hard to capture their true color in the photo.

The love die was cut with gray paper.

The thick pink twine has flecks of gray in it – very pretty way to finish.

Thanks for stopping by!

Simply beautiful! Sorry for the late comment. I would like to invite you to link with us again for our first Challenge this year at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with the encouragement found in 1 John 4:18-19 which tells us, "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us." Have a blessed day!
