Papertrey Ink December Blog Hop

Hello! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

Today is the PTI December Blog Hop Challenge.

Here is the inspiration picture:

I love all the color in the photo and there are a lot of elements present. I had to study the picture several times to figure out what I wanted to make.

I decided to use the stars in the picture as my focal point.

I watercolored three sheets of paper using pink, blue and yellow. I die cut a bunch of stars using the Large and small sketched stars dies.

After removing some of the stars I started building some cards. Since dies are all the rage and they leave behind great negative space I have been using that a lot when I make cards. I don’t want to waste what is “left behind.”
