I created this card for the Paper Smooches December Challenge Winter Holidays.
This cards feature a winter scene using the Sweet Escape and dies.
I stamped the trees and decided to make the base snowy. I added white liquid appliqué and allowed it to dry overnight. Then I used my heat tool to make it raise and puff up like snow.
I colored the trees with copics and die cut the stamped deer. He is so cute!
For the panel I used watercolor card stock and decided to try out Distress markers. I sometimes forget that the whole distress line reacts with water. I drew some lines of color and spritzed with my distress water bottle. After it dried I went back and added some water droplets and wiped them off, hoping for a little bit of a snowy effect.
Thank you was stamped at the bottom and a blue twine was added.
After adhering the watercolor paper I added the scene.
Thank you for stopping by!
