Happy Birthday

Hello!

I just wanted to share a couple more cards using the Stamps of Life December Card Kit.

I used the patterned paper from the kit as well as the Grid 2 die to create this first card. I die cut two pieces of paper (a light blue and a darker blue) to make the dark blue frame and then a contrasting lighter color to fill in the squares. I stamped red hearts and added gold sequins.

This month’s kit also included several acrylic embellishments. I added the red heart with glue at the bottom and tied on some twine.

I die cut a scalloped circle out of the center and die cut a cupcake from the triplits die set in pink cardstock. I stamped the sprinkles and the happy birthday in Guava ink. I decided to turn this into a shaker card.

After adhering the cupcake, I glued a few random sequins around and let them dry just so there would something around the cupcake and not all at the bottom of the shaker.

After gluing down the cardstock with foam strips I added some silver flowers from a previous Card kit.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day.
