It’s starting to feel like Christmas!

Hope you are having a great day!

We have finally dipped below 70 degrees at night here in Georgia, so that puts me in the mood for the holidays!

I am working on Christmas cards and created these cards using the The Stamps of Life September Card Kit.

The kit includes a patterned paper pad, coordinating card stock, a storage envelope, a stamp set, a die, washi tape, two ribbon rolls, twine, star garland and felt snowflakes. Whew, that is a lot of goodies in one box!

The felt snowflakes got me very excited. I definitely LOVE snowflakes. I decided to use these to make some cards and I wanted one to be the focal point.

I die cut the base from the Sizzix Large Circle Flipits set.

Stephanie has these really cool circle dies in her product line. Some of them cut out the outer edge and some of them stay in the paper, leaving a cute border. I used the outer circle from the Thank you Circle Dies set to make the heart border on the main circle of the card base. Look closely and you will see it. Just darling!

I added the patterned paper and placed one of the snowflakes in the center. I decided this card needed more snowflakes so I stamped with six snowflakes with Versamark and added the Happy Holidays sentiment from the stamp set.

The lovely striped red ribbon included in this kit was the last touch, a nice contrast to the gray.

The second card I made looks similar in that I used the same Circle Flipits Die but the colors are totally different (but this still has snowflakes).

Again, I cut the base and patterned paper. I used another circle set, Noel Circle Dies for the middle.
I added a piece of red paper to make the sentiment pop.

After the card was assembled, I added a few sparkle flowers on the card. These flowers were included in a previous Stamps of Life Card kit,

Finally, I used Clear Wink of Stella to make that Noel shimmer.

Both of these card went quickly and are just so much fun!

Have a great day.
