Vintage Seeds of Summer

Hello! Today I am visiting Duluth, GA to spend some time at the Scrapbook Expo.

It is my first time going and I am really excited to attend!

I created this card for three challenges:

Paper Smooches July Challenge – Summer
Paper Smooches Guest Designer Search – August
Simon Says Stamp Blog Wednesday Challenge – Create a Scene

I used Paper Smooches Vegtastic and Dies.

I wanted to use this because this year we decided to not have a garden like we normally do. We were going to be traveling more than usual so we took a break. I am really, really missing my tomatoes, peas and peppers!

I started by stamping 3 seeds packets on yellow card stock.

I die cut the shapes then stamped them on Copic Blend it paper. I colored the vegetables and decided the white board around the cut out was a little harsh. I pulled out my Tea Dye Distress pad and started adding a little color to the veggies. Once I did that, I decided the rest of the card was going to be “vintage.”

I embossed a piece of blue paper with a cloud pattern and mounted it all on cream colored card stock.

Like all the Paper Smooches stamps, this set just makes me smile!

Hope you have a wonderful day. Thank you for stopping by.
