I created this card to send to Jason (Jay) Weaver, who is the bassist of a Christian band I absolutely love, Big Daddy Weave.

Jay is very ill and in the hospital battling a life threatening infection. I wanted to send a card to let him and his family know we are praying for his healing and recovery.

I used stamps from Paper Smooches and colored them in with Copics. I created my background using  “thoughts and prayers” as I really wanted to make that the focal point. I attached it all to a brown card stock base.

I recently discovered the Word Art Wednesday Blog and I thought this card would be a good fit for the current challenge # 234-235 Anything goes.
