PTI Make It Monday # 252 Gradient Watercolor Die Cuts

Hello! Today I created a card for PTI Make It Monday # 252 Gradient Watercolor Die Cuts.

In the video, Dawn used Zig watercolor brush pens to create a watercolor background and die cut it. I don’t have many of the Zigs so I decided to use my Zig Kuretake watercolor set because I have more color selection.

I painted a sheet of watercolor with several shades of blue.

I heat set it and then decided to add some gold watercolor from the Zig Starry Colors 6 piece kit. You can see the shimmer some in this picture. It really is quite beautiful in person.

I die cut it with the Papertreyink Waves Cover Plate and used Enchanted Evening cardstock for my card base.

I added 5 of the die cuts back instead of adding them all.

Next I die cut “Thinking of you” from Paper Clippings Thinking of You die and cut out the words from the frame.

Here is the final product:

This went pretty quickly but it packed a lot of punch using the gradient technique.

Thank you for stopping by!
