Spring is in the Air!

Hello there!

We have been enjoying some warm and beautiful days in GA. I love this time of year – when all the plants are green and aren’t worn out by summer’s heat.

So feeling “springy,” I pulled out a background stamp by Hero Arts, Large Flower.

I used archival black ink to stamp the image on watercolor paper. I then water colored it in sections. I used strong adhesive to add some green foil around the edge of a piece of white paper.

This picture below is actually the same stamp used 2 different ways:
The paper on the left is embossed with an iridescent embossing powder and then watercolored.
I plan to make a card with it soon.

I punched some circles and added a pink ribbon.

I added a die cut “happy” that was covered in Teal foil.

I finished by adding it all to a heavy white cardstock base.

I think it works well for Simon Says Stamp Blog Wednesday Challenge: Make it Girlie!

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!
