Happy Easter! I am just returning from Spring Break with my children and I have really been missing crafting!!
I created a card for the Simon Says Stamp Blog Monday Challenge: Food and Drink.
I needed something quick and easy this week so I grabbed a die set and cut two pieces of cardstock, one white and one pink. I pulled out my Milk and Cookies set from Lawn Fawn which I love and use often. I stamped and cut the plate from blue paper and then stamped and cut 3 chocolate chip cookies. I colored them using a Brown Zig Wink of Stella marker. Those things are amazing!!!
After stamping “sweet wishes” and attaching the plate and cookies I had a lot of white space left! Eeek! So I had some leftover stamped images from Lawn Fawn Party Animals so I added one to the top of the card. I glued a present into his hands.
Thank you for taking a moment to drop by. I hope you have a wonderful day!
Happy Crafting!
This card is adorable! I love the simplicity of the double-background and really love the sweet little polka dots you chose. This little guy makes me smile and I thought it was so clever of you to put him in such a tasty little scene! Great matching of the sentiment to the subject matter. I also really like the way you edged out the white square. This is classy and cute and I'm so glad you shared it with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
