Hello! I created a Birthday cards for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Blog Challenge Touchy Feely.

I needed a birthday card this week and I decided a shaker card would be fun.

I began by die cutting a heart out of foam from the Avery Elle Geek Love set and repeated this on a piece of patterned paper. I stamped in red ink the Party Animal balloon for the centerpiece of the shaker. I added some blue sequins and put it all together. After adding the sentiment, “Happy Birthday,” I attached the blue felt flower.

Lots went wrong with this card – I mounted the cardstock crooked and got paper stuck all over the foam but with a few trims here and there I was able to salvage it! Sometimes things just go that way.
Hopefully this card will bring a smile to someone’s face.
