I haven’t made a shaker card in a while, probably because I invariably make a mistake and I have to toss it! I decided to try again with this week’s challenge from Simon Says Stamp.

I recently purchased the Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle frames which coordinate perfectly with their stitched circle dies.

I die cut all the pieces using Papertreyink Vintage Jadeite as my color inspiration.

On a white circle I stamped Happy Easter. I have this adorable Easter egg paper from the Stamps of Life and the dies to match so I die cut several eggs and glued them in the frame. After it was all stamped, I filled my shaker and attached to the card base.

I used the Scribbles stencil from Tim Holtz with Vintage Jadeite to lightly sponge on the background.

The lovely sequins are from Verve stamps.
