Hello everyone! I created some “Flowers in Bloom” today.
I had an Altoids tin that was almost empty and thought it would be great to upcycle. I decided to paint it with some blue and green paints from the Tim Holtz distress line. Nothing too fancy, just one coat of each, starting with the darkest blue and ending with the light color. I love this paint because it dries quickly.
I pulled out my flower dies from My Favorite Things and cut several types of flowers from felt and hot glued them together.
I added a piece of green “grass” on the bottom.
I hot glued some green leaves and flowers on the inside of the container so that when you opened the container it was “blooming with flowers.”
On top I added a sentiment stamped from a Lawn Fawn stamp set and quickly colored it with a blue Zig marker. I glued a few leaves and finished by adding a large pink Rose.

Here is the completed project with the gift card placed inside.
This is for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Recycle/Upcycle.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a fantastic day.
