I recently saw a video by Jennifer McGuire using the Memory Box Plush mitten, stocking and snowmen dies. I decided to use the mitten to make some ornaments for recipients of our Meals on Wheels program at our church.

I teach 4th & 5th grade Sunday school and since Jennifer introduced her Share Handmade kindness I been trying to think of ideas for things to make each month.

I used an assortment of felt and hand stitched with embroidery floss. You can see the outline of a snowflake in some of them.

The children wrote Christmas cards and stuffed the mittens with chocolate bars.

It was a fun project. I didn’t want to stop making them! I am going to make extra for teachers to hold gift cards.
